Georgia Cop’s Poor Arrest Attempt Leads To Escape Following Parking Lot Scrap: ‘They Are Just Dancing’
Law enforcement officers certainly have a job that can be pretty physically demanding from time to time, not to mention just stressful in general. There are countless online clips that back that up as well. Take this recently posted TikTok video, for example. The clip has around 400 likes and almost 5K views as a Georgia police officer struggles with his arrest attempt, which seems to lead to the alleged criminal’s grand escape.
Unfortunately, the TikTok video would start off with the arrest already taking place. With that being said, it is unclear as to why the young man was being detained by the cop. Nevertheless, the Georgia police officer and a younger man can be seen wrestling in an empty parking lot. The young man is trying to escape custody, as the officer attempts to get him in handcuffs. The cop can then be seen swinging the man around in order to get him onto the ground. Yet, that does not seem to have any effect.
As the clip continues, the two men fight and struggle in order to be able to impose their will on the other. The younger man is seemingly incredibly desperate to escape as he is twisting and fighting like his life is in danger. Although the police officer isn’t giving up that easily. Finally, both men end up falling to the ground as they roll around. Shoes are flying off, and the younger man’s shirt even gets ripped off by the police officer.
TikTok Reacts To Georgia Police Officer’s Failed Arrest
At this point, the TikTok comment section was jumping. Many users would then rush to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes regarding the attempted arrest. “Bruh is playing Hokey Pokey with the cop,” wrote one. Another pointed out, “Glad he didn’t shoot him.” A different person then joked, “Awe, they were hugging on the ground.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “They are just dancing together.”
The TikTok would go on with the Georgia police officer finally losing his grip on the younger man. The would-be criminal then takes off running, with the police officer in close pursuit. As the video starts to come to a close, viewers can also see the cop pull out his taser from his holster.
At the end of the day, this was certainly a strange encounter, and the person recording was lucky enough to be able to witness and record it. As for the Georgia police officer, maybe next time he should call in some backup before moving to arrest his suspect. Hopefully, nobody was seriously harmed in this chase, though.
