Desperate California Mother Takes Matters Into Her Own Hands Amid School Bus Chaos: ‘Immediately On The Mom’s Side’
Having children can be a very rewarding and fun experience. However, it’s not always all sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes, a parent has to go to extremes in order to protect their children, and that’s exactly what occurred in this recently posted TikTok video. The clip has around 800K likes and 9.8 million views, as a California mother is recorded amid her desperate attempt to get her child off of a school bus. The driver had allegedly held the kids on the vehicle due to their behavior, per the school’s protocol.
Nevertheless, the TikTok video’s caption claims that the children had been held on the bus for about an hour on what appears to be a hot day. Not a lot of school buses have air conditioning either, so it was most likely pretty toasty in there. Things would then escalate even further once viewers can see the California mother climbing through one of the vehicle’s windows after she had reportedly smashed it to gain access. At this point, all the kids on the bus are going wild as one can be heard yelling, “Get me off this bus!”
As the woman gets back to her feet, she can be seen climbing over students and seats alike. Finally, she reaches the front of the bus, where she and the driver have a heated conversation. The bus driver seems to tell the Mother that he is doing his job, and that it is school policy. Yet, she doesn’t want to hear any of it as she gives him a piece of her mind.
TikTok Reacts To California Mother’s School Bus Altercation
The TikTok comment section was also up in arms following this situation, as many users would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions regarding the altercation. “Confused how the parent got arrested when the bus driver is holding the kids as hostages,” wrote one. “I’m immediately on the mom’s side,” said another. One more also joked, “That’s Beth Dutton!” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “So a man holds a bunch of kids hostage, and a mom climbs through a window to save her child, and she goes to jail?”
Parents crashing out like this is not totally uncommon. At least this California mother was on the war path for a noble cause. Sometimes, that’s not always the case. The TikTok video would then come to an abrupt end, sadly. However, that didn’t stop the internet from making it viral. At the end of the day, an hour is too long for those kids to be sitting on a stationary bus like that. At the same time, however, the California woman probably shouldn’t have climbed through the window like that, which inevitably led to her arrest.
