Iowa Motorist Forgets How To Drive Amid Dollar General Parking Lot Chaos: ‘It Was In The Way!’

People around the globe operate motor vehicles every day. However, with that being said, not everyone can be a good driver. More often than not, social media users see clips online showing bad drivers, and this recently posted TikTok video is no different. As those kinds of clips tend to do, the video went viral pretty fast. With around 26K likes and 930K views, social media users seemingly can’t get enough of the spectacle, as the clip shows an Iowa motorist’s struggle while attempting to park their car. 

Sadly, the TikTok video starts off with the situation having already taken place. However, despite that, the man recording was still able to get a pretty comical moment on-camera. Viewers can then see the Iowa driver’s vehicle as it is parked crooked in a parking spot at a Dollar General store. Yet, upon a closer look, the Iowa driver has jumped the curb with the vehicle, and that is why the car is not parked in the lines. 

Although that isn’t even the craziest part of this encounter. As the Iowa man walks towards the front of the vehicle, he then sees that the hood has been smashed in due to the driver slamming into the building. The side of the Dollar General is also cracked and broken, as fallen bricks lay on the hood of the car. At this point, one of the store’s employees is also outside trying to get a handle on the situation.

The TikTok comment section had a lot to say following this parking lot encounter as well. Many users would then hurry to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes regarding the matter. “The store is at fault! It was in the way,” wrote one. Another pointed out, “It’s always Dollar General.” Someone else then joked, “They can’t park there.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “Who was driving?” 

Situations like this one are not super uncommon for any store, really, but it would seem as though Dollar General just has a target on its back for strange encounters. WTOV9 Fox even has an article regarding a separate issue that occurred at a Dollar General. While it’s not the same Iowa location, it would seem as though this behavior has spread across the country. 

Unfortunately, the TikTok video would then come to a pretty sudden end after the discovery that the car had slammed into the Iowa Dollar General. At the end of the day, at least nobody was hurt during the driver’s failed parking job. Some people just should not be behind the wheel of a car, and whoever was driving that vehicle may just belong in that small group.
