Unfortunate Virginia Woman ‘Crying And Throwing Up’ Following Horrific McDonald’s Soft Drink Discovery: ‘That Looks Like A Parasite’

However, when dining out, the expectation is that the food will be correct, clean, and without any unwanted guests hitching a ride. Yet, that is just not always the reality of the situation. Take this recently posted TikTok video, for example. The clip has around 27K likes and 340K views as a young Virginia woman shows her truly horrific McDonald’s soft drink experience.
The TikTok video would then start off with the woman showing off the soft drink that she had purchased from her local McDonald’s. She also explains that she was “Drinking her Coke” when she noticed something floating around inside the cup. Then comes the bombshell, as the Virginia woman states that there is, in fact, a worm in her drink. She also tells the camera that she has been “Crying and throwing up” due to the discovery, and she even gags a little when telling the camera what she found.
She would then pass her phone to a man off-camera as she does not want to look at the creature floating around in the drink that she was just enjoying moments before posting this clip. The video then cuts to the two of them using the drink’s straw to show off the worm, and the creature even moves a little bit inside the cup.
TikTok Reacts To Virginia Woman’s Nasty MacDonald’s Discovery
This was enough to make the TikTok comment section squirm as well, with many users rushing to leave behind their own thoughts on the matter. “There’s been a boycott for years. Wendy’s would never,” wrote one. Another claimed, “They’re sludge worms.” A different commenter then said, “First mistake, you went to McDonald’s!” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “That looks like a parasite!“
While the original video would end after the viewers actually saw the worm, the Virginia woman would post a Part Two video, giving a little more context and a quick update to the situation. In that clip, she explains that she has not had any health issues following the experience, but she does confirm the species of the worm to be a Sludge Worm. She also states that they are continuing to attempt to contact McDonald’s corporate office, but have not heard back.
