Unfortunately, homelessness is still a pretty prominent issue in the United States of America. Now, with that being said, it is mostly contained to the larger cities. Take this recently posted TikTok video, for example. The clip has around 3K likes and 28K views as it shows a homeless Colorado man freak out at a group of younger pedestrians as they wait for the bus. Social media users seemingly can’t get enough of the drama either, as the video continues to go viral.
The TikTok would then start off with the man recording, sitting at the bus stop waiting for a ride home. He is also with a group of friends, whom the homeless man has begun harassing. The man behind the camera can be heard asking his friend if he needs help, since the Colorado man won’t leave him alone. Insults and curse words can also be heard coming from the man, as he is certainly upset about something.
Suddenly, one of the women in the group can be heard telling the homeless man to “Shut up.” Yet, he does the exact opposite of that and begins screaming, asking the group if they are Mormons. Some of the group are also holding skateboards, and the man continues to call them posers as he goes on his rant. At one point he even states that he is the person that “Hates your soul,” as he tells the man recording.
TikTok Reacts To Racist Colorado Homeless Man’s Meltdown
The TikTok comment section also had a lot to say regarding this, as many users would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes. “I’m from Colorado, and I wanted to say I’m sorry,” wrote one. Another said, “I don’t know what it is about this interaction, but all your clap-backs were funny.” A different user also asked, “Girl, what’s happening?” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “Where do you guys find these people?“
Yet, that is not where this altercation would end, as the homeless Colorado man has a lot to get off his chest. A Part Two TikTok video would then be posted by the same account showing the end of the encounter. However, things would take a turn for the worse as the homeless man can be heard yelling racial slurs at the group.
Sadly, this kind of behavior is not an isolated incident either. The Washington Post even has a list of some of the most racist cities in the United States of America. Racism and homelessness are still issues in this country to this day, with no end in sight. Hopefully, the US can get it under control sooner rather than later, though.
As the TikTok video comes to an end, the Homeless Colorado man can be seen marching right at the man holding the camera. Yet, the clip cuts off, as the two may have even gotten into a fight. At the end of the day, racism is never okay. Hopefully, this man can get the help that he obviously needs.
