‘What’s Wrong With the United States?’: New York McDonald’s Becomes Scene of Massive Brawl
Fast food restaurants and other eating establishments have long been named the unofficial Thunderdome. There are countless viral clips online that show some pretty intense altercations taking place inside or around these restaurants. Take this recently posted TikTok video as a prime example. The clip has brought in around 1.8 million likes to go along with 23.4 million views as viewers get a front-row seat to a massive brawl inside of a New York McDonald’s.
Unfortunately, the TikTok video would start off with the action already underway. However, with that being said, the person recording was able to get most of the altercation on-camera. Nevertheless, it is unclear what caused this massive brawl, as the clip does not catch that part. Although it does show absolute chaos inside of this New York McDonald’s
Right off the bat, viewers can see a man running through the restaurant in an attempt to escape the ensuing madness that is unfolding around him. Behind that man, there is a group of younger individuals just throwing hands. Punches are being thrown, shirts are being grabbed, items are flying through the air; it’s truly chaos. Other customers are also trying to escape the battle, as some are even carrying their children.
TikTok Reacts To Crazy New York McDonald’s Battle
The TikTok comment section had a lot to say about this as well. Many users would then rush to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions regarding the altercation. “This is so embarrassing,” wrote one. Another joked, “I would use the fight as a distraction and steal food.” Someone else then asked, “Bro, what’s wrong with the United States?” Finally, one last person’s comment would also read, “If you want to fight and mess your life, go outside.”
As the TikTok video continues, chairs, scooters, and many other items can be seen being used as makeshift weapons as the brawl goes on. The New York McDonald’s has turned into a warzone, as viewers can also see these items being thrown at some of the fighters.
These kinds of incidents are not even isolated either, and can really happen to anyone. According to TMZ, not even too long ago rapper Ice Spice was almost attacked by a crazy fan inside of a McDonald’s restaurant. The golden arches are not the only fighting grounds, though. Other eating establishments also face their fair share of brawls.
Yet, as the TikTok video comes to an end, one of the groups of New York natives that were fighting is trying to make their escape from the McDonald’s. They can be seen running out the door while throwing whatever they had left in their hands at the other group. The video would then cut off as the restaurant is completely trashed. Hopefully, justice was served for those who took part in this fight, and nobody was seriously hurt.
