In fact, one Illinois woman learned something very interesting when her Italian friend came to visit and gave his surprising opinion on the best pizza chain in the U.S.
In a TikTok video shared by @emmanoyesmaybe, she asks her friend Matteo what his favorite American pizza is. While some would think he would give a very sophisticated answer, he plainly revealed that he thinks it’s none other than Little Caesars.

The video earned nearly 2 million likes, with viewers taking the comment section to weigh in. Even Little Caesars got in on the fun. “He knows ball,” the pizza chain wrote in the comments. The comment quickly blew up on social media, with fans sharing their thoughts about the pizza.
While some were discouraged and questioned Matteo’s taste, many defended Little Caesars, claiming to love their pizza and their prices. “I don’t get why people hate Little Caesars? It’s not greasy and it’s cheap,” one person said. “People hate but Little Caesars is delicious,” another agreed. “Italian here. Little Caesars is my favorite as well,” a third person wrote.
